When Darkness Falls
When darkness falls across your sky,
When your world is broken and your ready to cry,
All you feel is the pain of tomorrow,
Not ready to face your sorrow.
When you try your best,
Yet fail the Test.
And all that's left is this mess,
Trials and troubles that give us stress.
Keeping this path along the road,
Staggering from our heavy load.
Laying it down beside the cross,
Crying from our heavy loss.
Losing grip on the things we love,
Turning it to the Father above.
Mourning our unworthy life,
Hoping we won't feel the strife.
Knowing that we'll have to come again,
Giving God our burden once held by men.
Made by dust alone,
We weren't put up on any throne.
On our knees we pray,
And hope for a better day.
When Jesus comes and takes us home,
Together our spirits can roam.
As we fellowship together in Jesus` name,
Feeling no shame.
God Bless you all,
And remember we're human,
and we still stumble and fall.
Thank God He's there to pick us up again.
